What an amazing year it’s been. For me, 2005 will be remembered as the year I…

# Experienced first-hand a new and exciting resurgence of interest in Internet marketing by companies large and small
# Used Internet marketing to reduce the Canadian Diabetes Association‘s cost-per-recruitment of volunteer fundraisers
# Helped six people land terrific new jobs in the industry
# Celebrated the 10th anniversary of my very first Website, MultiMediator
# Discovered some amazing new tools-of-the-trade, including Campaign Monitor, GoogSpy, and WordPress
# Participated in the planning of the hugely successful and completely sold-out 2005 Digital Marketing Conference
# Witnessed Zapdramatic, one of my clients, win a well-deserved Canadian New Media Award (after I badgered them to enter)
# Oversaw the re-positioning and launch of the online fundraising campaign for rare – Canada’s Largest Urban Green Space
# Re-launched a paid version of Betaville, my new media job posting Website
# Got invited by Ken Schafer to be a weekly contributor to something called “One Degree”
2006 is already shaping up to be a doozy for me and our industry. Bring it on!
