Elizabeth Cleghorn Stevenson came into the world on September 29, 1810, in circumstances that will seem almost inconceivable today. Born in what is now a part of London, she was her parents’ eighth and final child, but one of only two to survive to adulthood. When she was 13 months old, her mother died. In 1827, her last remaining sibling was lost at sea.

Zoom Competitor, Google Meet, Is Now Adding 3 Million Users Per Day

As COVID-19 makes video conferencing the “new normal,” on Google’s latest earnings call, CEO Sundar Pichai said the company’s Meet video conferencing service is adding about three million users per day.

Pichai also reported that Meet has about 100 million active participants per day, which represents about a 300 percent growth in usage since January.
