    IF…you have ORIGINAL content, and it is relevant, then no, I don’t think it’s being fake at all. I think that’s good PR. Just don’t use a fake name.

    Good content is good content regardless of its source. You would start to lose credibility if you were to digg everything you do but I don’t think shouting out something stellar once in a while is a problem. Like Rick said, just make sure you don’t pretend to be someone you’re not. It always backfires. Like my Mother used to say… “Keep it Real!”

    I agree with the gentlemen above. Digg it once yourself if you think it’s relevant, and then leave it up to fate. Transparency is always the best policy.
    If you login as your mom and digg it again, you’ve crossed into the realm of astroturfing.
