Here's our public service announcement for the week. Tomorrow is April Fools Day.
Not only do you have to worry about getting caught by the Conflicker.c worm but by more insidious online pranks. Google has a rich history of April Fool's pranks – so if you hear about Google buying Twitter and rebranding it Twoogle, think twice.
Remember: Snopes.com is your friend.

Thank you for this.
It drives me crazy that all my usually trusted sources of information because unreliable for a day a year. In an age where trust and credibility is now SO important I think April Fool’s gags (particularly at a corporate level) are as outmoded as fax machines.
Oh yeah and all you kids get off my lawn! 🙂
This is a great post, Google has such a great culture. April fool’s day is one of my favorite, I always try to come up with something new each year. Here are some of my favorite hoaxes that I draw inspiration from, you can vote on your favorite: http://www.toptentopten.com/topten/april+fools_+hoaxes+ever
