Taking a moment here to let you all in on something.
“What’s with the damn kittens?” Well, everyone loves kittens and I love kittens … so, there ya go … kittens! And it is a very, unbelievably, oblique hint!
This year marks the Twentieth Anniversary of One Degree. And I am awfully proud to have been at the helm since 2010. I really love running this site/blog!
And as a result of this being an anniversary milestone, plus some research and discovery I have been doing over the past few months I will be changing One Degree.
Not going to spill the beans as yet … will formally announce soon, but I have a new direction mapped out. We are not going to be unrecognizable from what everyone knows as “One Degree” but a brand refresh is in order and on the 20th Anniversary year? Perfect! Or at least, as a marketer … “Well, why the hell not?”
I will not go into the gory details, but the last few years have been a bit challenging for me healthwise, but I am doing way better now (Thank you for asking!) and although I am still working on these health issues (No, not cancer, or COVID) I feel a lot better than I have in a few years!
So stay tuned. There is a lot of work I am doing in the background and will officially launch soon.
And keeping in mind my old partner and friend and mentor Peter Zarry he always said … “When you are launching a product get it to 8 or 9 .. never wait til 10. Your competitors will be out there before you!”
I do miss the “Bear, who would threaten to hug you!” (RIP Peter!)
In that regard, what I believe and always have is “Done is way better than perfect.”
So, there might be some stuff I will tweak as we go after the official launch and there may be some kinks need ironing out but, “Hey, that’s the way I roll!”
Stay tuned I will be back to the Daily Briefings tomorrow with perhaps occasional interruptions but these are due to back end stuff going on and possible work load. Any interruptions will not be because there is anything wrong at One Degree … just stuff that has to get done.
Many thanks for the first 20 years and here’s to the next 20! (But your didn’t here that from me cause the 20th Anniversary announcement is not yet official)
Cheers,
mose
“Done is way better than perfect”. I like it. That works almost anywhere.
