French children, prime targets for online advertising
From Snapchat to YouTube, Instagram and, of course, video games, kids now spend twice as much time online as they did ten years ago: two hours a day on weekdays and three hours on weekends. -end on average, with nearly 20% of hyperconnected people who, these days, exceed six hours on the Internet. These figures obviously explode during periods of curfew and confinement.

At Canada’s Ministry of Innovation, Science, and Economic Development (ISED), staff quickly realized they could use the relationships with the business sector they had built over time, in industries such as aerospace, manufacturing, and automotive, to help solve this problem. Initiatives and incentives were pulled together, and soon textile manufacturers that normally made snow jackets were mass-producing medical gowns.
