The ultimate geek “unconference” “BarCamp”:http://www.barcamp.org is self-organizing itself into a global gathering this weekend called “BarCampEarth”:http://barcamp.org/BarCampEarth. The date marks (roughly) the one year anniversary of the “first BarCamp”:http://barcamp.org/BarCamp.
The “TorCamp”:http://www.torcamp.ca/ contingent have (of course) organized a great version of the event for “Toronto”:http://barcamp.org/BarCampEarthToronto.
But not to be outdone, “Vancouver”:http://barcamp.org/BarCampVancouver, “Sudbury”:http://barcamp.org/BarCampSudbury, and “Waterloo”:http://barcamp.org/BarCampWaterloo (albeit a month late) are joining in.
