For those of you who have been hearing about Twitter lately, but just don’t "get it" – here is a video from Common Craft that explains it in real terms.
Common Craft has a whole series of these "Plain English" videos where they do an exceptional job boiling down a tricky technical concept into easy-to-relate-to language; they include videos on wikis, blogs, RSS and social networking. Also, zombies.
