Canadian Tire, TSN Announce Digital Media Content Partnership

 Sports specialty channel TSN will develop and produce exclusive digital content for the retail marketing channels of Canadian Tire and Sport Chek.

Canadian Tire has struck a multi-year media, content, and digital partnership with TSN that includes access to the network’s suite of assets to develop and produce branded content for its marketing channels. The partnership also includes extensive traditional marketing and advertising opportunities across the sports channel’s digital and TV properties.

One buys Phase 4 in $24.8m deal

Transatlantic producer and distributor Entertainment One (eOne) has acquired Phase 4 Films to reinforce its VoD, digital and home entertainment operations in the US.

Toronto-based Phase 4 was founded by president and CEO Berry Meyerowitz in 2009 and distributes TV, film and special interest content across all media in the North American market.
