As if Google‘s free Gmail email service wasn’t good enough, the brilliant minds at Google have come up with yet another feature that has major implications for email marketers around the world.
The new Gmail Paper service gives email recipients the option to print all their messages instantly and prepare them for delivery by Google in 2-4 business days via post. Best of all, the service is free.
While environmentalists may at first be concerned about this seemingly retrograde move on Google’s part, there is no cause for concern. According to Google, "Gmail Paper is made out of 96% post-consumer organic soybean sputum, and thus, actually helps the environment. For every Gmail Paper we produce, the environment gets incrementally healthier."

I fell for it … until I read the customer quotes. I just kept thinking “the sheer lunacy” and “i don’t get the point…”
Don’t forget about the new router service
I guess this opens the door for my dad, the luddite hermit, to have an email address. I think I’ll go setup an account for him, configure Feedblitz to email my posts to his account, get gmail paper to mail him my posts. He’ll never have an excuse not to “read” my blog again.
ack!
