You do know it’s Mother’s Day on Sunday, right? I was feeling a little smug because I ordered flowers last week. But then I saw the poll happening over at Guess What They Said.
GWTS is pretty neat little site. It’s created by the folks over at Delvinia Data Collection – they pick a question each month and poll a subset of their AskingCanadians panel. There’s a pretty slick interface that lets you guess the answers of those polled; once you guess, they compare your answers with the actual responses.
I scored a 96% accuracy on this one. Yet I still got flowers for my mom. I guess it’s never too early to start thinking about Christmas.

Top 5 (Relatively) Quick and Geeky Last Minute Mother’s Day Gifts
I’d love another gadget but to be honest, the best gifts on Mothers’ Day are the homemade ones. Nothing brings more of a smile to my face than getting something made by one of my kids. Cost=priceless.
As for the flowers, I’d take them any day over the Top 5 listed above.
