Here at One Degree we love to support the Canadian camping scene (bar, case, tor, etc.), and when we heard this news we couldn’t keep quiet.  Toronto-based Barcamp regular Randy Charles Morin announced last week that R-mail, a company website he founded, has been sold to NBC Universal.

For those that do not know what R-mail is, it is a site which you can subscribe yourself to receive email updates when a website’s RSS feed is updated.  Randy created R-mail after he could not find a suitable solution online, and with 50,000 users and 100,000 subscriptions, Randy has made good on his project.
If you haven’t already, checkout R-mail, and send Randy a kudos email…better yet, post it to your blog and hope he has it R-mailed!

Thank you very much Arieh. You support is much appreciated.
Two corrections. R-mail is a website, not a company. Typo. R-camp?
